One year ago as I was hanging out with Elizabeth in my studio shooting around and talking about future shoots, an idea hit me as I was taking her portrait... I wondered how many people I'd meet over the next year? By taking relatively the same portrait of everyone that visited my studio, I started to personalize the project and ask each person the same two questions... "Who are you and what is one thing that you love?"
I am thrilled and am surprised that I have had over 300 people pass through my doors in one year! I have met some of the coolest people in Chicago and beyond. I want to personally thank all 318 of you who passed through and were willing to take part in this project.
The fun doesn't stop just yet. My good friends over at Bright Bright Great have graciously offered to help layout what will become the VISITORS coffee table book. On top of that I am planning a gallery show this fall and hope to have every photo of all of you hanging up along with the launch of the coffee table book. Stay tuned for that!
